Nishani has taught for over a decade as though history, literature, civics, and etymology were different doors into one question: what’s actually happening in a person? Shaped by Krishnamurti’s call to look honestly at oneself before asking a child to do the same, she helped children publish books and games through transdisciplinary projects. Now at CFL she teaches Humanities and English, does pastoral care and land work among other things. When by herself; dance, unschooled singing, endless reading, conversations is what she leans into.
