As you know, the financial philosophy of the school has been driven by two main concerns. Firstly, CFL should be accessible to all parents seriously exploring alternative education, and paying capacity should never be a criterion for admission. Secondly, the school should remain small, with a high teacher to student ratio.
Also because of our scholarship policy (we give scholarships to all families to whatever extent they ask for, and we do not cap the number of scholarships), we engage in fund raising in order to cover the deficit. The deficit for this year is Rs 32 lakhs. We are looking to raise Rs. 10 lakhs through our alumni network.
